TRUSTED AND HELPFUL

When my central heating broke down, I made a mistake and called out a plumber from yellow pages and cost me a bomb. The boiler failed again and I rang ENSURE insurance and they told me I should have called them as I had emergency cover. They arranged an engineer who came quite late at night and sorted the heating out. I had follow up calls from the Engineer's & insurance company to make sure my central heating was working. The engineer checked all my radiators. Thogh he was only a young guy he had a lot of experience. Reviewed on: 1st October 2017

Awful customer service.

Awful customer service. Chat is useless and phone line is never answered. If anyone reads this from ensure cancel my policy I never wanted auto renew. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Reviewed on: 9th February 2024

Terrible Customer Service!!!

Policy up for renewal. I've had no communication, I cannot access documents online, was told the online webchat is unavailable and when I was forced to call, waited for 30 minutes on hold until I was hung up on! Terrible service, stay well clear! Reviewed on: 10th January 2024

What a bunch of chancers

Used this mob reluctantly last year for Home insurance but at point of renewal they increased the policy nearly 4 fold from £160 up to £585. When I checked out similar policies on-line they we much closer to the £160 than to the £585 so simply didn't renew. The people who run this business are clearly a bunch of clowns, and fail to understand even the basics about customer retention. I rang their office ready to explain to them that I wouldn't have renewed with them even at the same price because of their terrible reviews, one site alone had 61% 1 star and a big habit of trying not to pay out, but the operator couldn't care less that I wasn't interested in renewing and didn't want to engage to learn why. 15 years without a single claim

After 15 years with esure without a single claim the roof on my house was damaged by a storm. They sent a surveyor round who said my roof was not covered by my policy. What a ripoff. Do not use these people. Reviewed on: 17th October 2023

Poor customer service

Been with esure for a year. Their customer service is very poor. I have called multiple times throughout my policy and every time is a long waitlist saying 'we are unusually busy today'. ITS NOT UNUSUAL IF ITS EVERYDAY, you're just short staffed. Initially I opened a claim with them however then decided to drop the claim against another driver. at least an hour wait on both times I have tried to call the claims team and cancel it. No response to my email in over a month. Poor. When my renewal came up they offered my a new quote which was DOUBLE my last years premiums and I have had no claims. Better off moving back to ADMIRAL or someone with decent customer care. The mobile website also frequently doesnt work if you want to make changes online to your policy. Low initial settlement offer

My car was broken into and my laptop (an insured, specified item, out of the home) was taken. When I claimed on my insurance, the claim handler initially offered me the value of a Grade C second hand item based on a dodgy website which was out of stock, even though the policy required me to supply the new replacement cost each year I took out the insurance. I challenged this and suddenly I was given the value of the brand new equivalent from Currys (more than £750 difference to the previous valuation). It feels like they try to get away with a low offer and suddenly correct themselves if you know what you are entitled to. Reviewed on: 23rd August 2023
