Can't get an update on my phone claim

Insurance cover is good, customer service from Nationwide is not too bad. Currently I am dealing with their partner service, DVS as my mobile phone is being repaired/ replaced. They have a 7 working day turnaround for this, meaning that, including postage time and weekends, I will have been without my mobile phone for at least two weeks when (if) it comes back. The online dashboard to show you the order progress doesn't make any sense, and the only way to contact DVS for a progress update is to request a call back from them - which is difficult when you don't have a mobile. Fortunately they offer a callback service at a time of your choice. However, when I gave them my work number, and made sure I would be at my desk at the chosen time, they did not call. Instead they sent me an email saying they endeavor to respond to enquiries within 20 days. Feeling frustrated, disappointed and very, very lost. Reviewed on: 15th November 2016

Had my renewal through..went up considerably..rang them and asked them why it was so high(i had had no claims) they offered to re do the quote taking off a loyalty discount which then made the quote lower than i had been paying previously..my point is if i had not called about the renewal price the LOYALTY discount would not have been applied..loyalty...really, sneaky i call it. Had to ring on renewal as I had been ill and thought I had missed the renewal period. The call was answered quickly by a really helpful lady who assured me everything was fine, ran through it all to make sure there were no changes and renewed there and then. My son brushed his teeth one morning and decided to put the plug in the sink and left tap running ... i had to go and take my other kids to school and do abit of shopping when i returned i had water coming through the ceiling and water water coming down the stairs as bathroom was directly across the yop of the stairs and it was like a waterfall coming downstairs. Quick and fair

Every time I've had to make a claim the response was very quick, and they have always offered me a fair amount. The standard coverage is the best I've found, as well. I'd recommend them to anyone! Reviewed on: 16th February 2016
