Vanquis offer a balance transfer and purchase credit card.

Vanquis offer 0% for purchases and balance transfers for a set period of time. You will be charged a fee for any balance transfers. When the offer period on the card ends, any outstanding balance will be charged at a standard variable interest rate.

Good company, terrible app

They are a great company, great pay back amount, but their app doesn't make sense when it comes to paying the amount needed each month. Either more money is taken by them at a much later date than it says, or less is taken, but it's extremely rarely the amount it states or the date. I got a credit card to improve my credit score.

I got a credit card to improve my credit score. Then Covid hit, which unfortunately meant I maxed out my card as this was my only access to money. I’m still paying it off, the interest was insane for the amount I borrowed and there was no break. Then Covid hit customer service was a nightmare, I feel like they hire sales people rather than customer service. Reviewed on: 23rd May 2025

Do not value my custom - closing my account

I obtained a credit card from Vanquis nearly 4 years ago with a £600 credit limit, despite making payments back every month and paying much more than minimum payment, using the card regularly, I have never received anything more from them. I even called them and asked why they have never offered me a credit increase, they could see I never missed a payment, they still said they are not going to offer me anything more than the £600. This does not make sense to me as I have a good credit history, payments never missed and other lenders offer increases, so why not Vanquis, I felt like my custom to them doesn’t mean very much and I have decided to close my account with them.
