    Dreadful experience with Santander policy

    I have cancelled my policy with Santander as no help was given with our claim from a water leak.. We asked twice for an assessor... I have cancelled my policy with Santander as no help was given with our claim from a water leak.. We asked twice for an assessor to attend and assess our shower leak and had no reply on both occasions. Our plumber sent in many photos and reports on the issue also to no avail.     I have had my mortgage and a few bank accounts with Santander for a good number of years. The communication and use of the app...     New level of Awful!!

    To get a mortgage they are ok, they were very slow at a time interest rates were going up which cause a higher rate. They... To get a mortgage they are ok, they were very slow at a time interest rates were going up which cause a higher rate. They also advised I would port a mortgage and get a new one and later merge them which after all is not correct. And now that I finally just got 40% equity they reduced the home value so the deals on offer are lower. Smaller houses then mine for for more than their pathetic valuation… this just confirms they are ok to get you in and hope you lazy and not intelligent and stay with them while they rip you off Read more Read less

I could easily manage/check my balance online and in the app. The santander app is probably one of my favourite banking apps i have used. its very user friendly and easy to use.
