Got a remortgage agreed on april 26, house valuation also done april 26 , completion for 1st august 26; they send the mortgage paperwork to my address (nb 3) and my bank card and log in to another address (nb 33) how is this possible i do not know...My solicitor worked everything the background and told me they are really slow (they still use fax machines). Santander asked me for insurance certificates for insulation in June- i send them all of that. On 11th Aug they asked that again via my solicitor - they need it the valuator to change the report to reflect the certificate i send them. on 11th august they told me it takes 3 days and they will release the funds - 7 days later they still have not got the updated certificate... my solicitor and myself ring them every day for the last 5 days and i get the same excuse "we do not control legal and general" so i guess on 1st sept i will need to pay another variable rate fee on my morgage ... they are a joke Read more Read less

I took out an everyday credit card and I am a Chase customer. It will not allow to me to make any form of payment... I took out an everyday credit card and I am a Chase customer. It will not allow to me to make any form of payment other then by direct debit. I cannot do a bank transfer from Chase, I cannot use my debit card from Chase, I can't even go to a post office to pay it. The reason I need to make those payments is to clear my transfers before the 0% period ends, and I can't!!! I knew I shouldn't have gone to Santander, I used to have an account with them and they were an absolutely awful organisation, I guess I will never learn. Read more Read less
