Had water coming through my roof. They sent a surveyor out who completely misdiagnosed the problem. Water continued to leak , they then stated that they couldn't do anything because there wasn't storm damage.
The roof was damaged by my neighbours and I'm still waiting over four months for a legal claim to go through on the legal side of the insurance.
AVOID LLOYDS INSURANCE. MORE HEADACHE THAN THEY ARE

After submitting a reasonably straightforward travel claim the response by AXA was slow and painful. They did not answer a single email - they would not answer the phone and yet sent me 41 computer generated texts which were worthless. This was the worst customer experience I have ever known. Even their complaints team do not respond-!

Won't accept responsability

Had to make a no fault claim. Gave all information to Lloyds, they the transferred me to another company. Had to give all details again. Next day, contacted by underwriter, had to give all the information again. Lloyds had instructed one company to deal with claim, underwriter another. Lloyds wanted NOTHING to do with claim. I simply followed instructions given in emails and texts and phone calls. Ended up with chaos. Phone Lloyds, " nothing to do with us", phone underwriter, they blame Lloyds. Lloyds say they are only a BROKER!!

Been with Lloyds for about 45 years as a personal account customer and have to say the customer service is getting worse. I went to set up a business bank account with the information they need tucked under my arm. Was told I had to make an appointment to do this or make an application on line. I needed banking facilities( I was not looking to borrow any money) quickly as the supply of business equipment was in the pipeline and payments had to be made. I was informed by the staff in Bulwell Nottingham that they were all far to busy to help me today!! They didn't show an attitude that I though was conducive with helping me. I am now looking to obtain banking facilities from National Westminster Bank who really wanted to help me. I will move all my accounts to Nat West in the coming weeks. Perhaps the branch is understaffed ,having said that, there seemed to be enough people in the bank!

Helping hand

I find banking app simple and easy to use with very quick transfers between accounts.. my local branch have always he super helpful from giving me advice about finances to printing months worth of bank statement with no charge they even stapled them...

Got my mortgage through Lloyds and chose a convayncer from their list - who Lloyds apparently vet and make sure are reputable to serve their customers . What a crock. This company are the worsed ever and because of Lloyds and APL I'm having to find 15k to fix a problem they decided not to tell me about. When it all goes wrong Lloyds wash their hands of you and will not support you in any financial compensation against any of the convayncers from their so called vetted list . BEWARE CHOSE YOUR OWN DO NOT CHOSE ANY FROM A LENDERS LIST .
Advantage Property Lawyers - playing at being convayncers in Leeds please do not under any circumstances use them they are incompetent morons who seem to have printed their certificates of the Internet. Be warned everyone

Dreadful to set up account

Multiple attempts to get the right documents to them. They seem to change to goalposts, telling you they have everything and them changing their mind. They don't tell you this by email, letter or phone and wait for you to call and chase them. ...

Multiple attempts to get the right documents to them. They seem to change to goalposts, telling you they have everything and them changing their mind. They don't tell you this by email, letter or phone and wait for you to call and chase them. Different bank representatives give different information. Awful. Wasted a lot of time.
I'm sure everything will be fine once the account is set up, assuming that end point is reached ever.

I really wanted to open a bank account with Lloyds. I went back there for four times and everytime they all said something different about my documents. The 3rd time my NI number letter didn’t have my recent address on there but proof of address was all fine. The 4th time she said that they cannot accept the proof of address whilst the other lady said that the letter was acceptable!!!! 4 times I went back and the last time (Friday afternoon at Commercial Road, Portsmouth) the lady was so bitchy she didn’t help me at all that is awful customer service!!! I opened an account with Santander and they were so helpful! Don’t go to Lloyds they apparently don’t want any new customers.

I have banked with Lloyds since I was a child - I am 52 now. 3 years ago I opened an account as I became a sole trader. All good. Last year I opened another account as a Ltd Company... It seems my many years of banking has no bearing on their decisions, not even the fact that on my sole trader account I grossed over £180 000 in one year, this all pails into insignificance when trying to get an overdraft to help with cash flow on my Ltd account. Lloyds 'help' is nothing short of terrible, after all these years of banking with them - I am moving on!!!
