Great service!!

Our boiler actually broke yesterday and was amazed when we called up Lloyds, they got someone out the same day to fix it. Called back when they said they would, perfect service!! We have two young children so really pleased our hot water was back...

Customer strategy is stuck in the 70's

After working away all week I log on to the bank to find my credit limit on my lloyds card had been reduced to half with no explanation. As I pay my balance in full every month, have a really good job and pay my bills on time I was a little baffled so decided to call the bank. I then received the worst possible customer service and was told that I was notified of the change and it couldn't be reversed. I hung up and then the postman turns up with a letter from lloyds the contents of which I can only describe as aggressively reducing my credit limit. There was however a really helpful paragraph in the letter stating that I could reject the change in limit by exercising my right to cancel my agreement with Lloyds by paying off the balance and closing my credit card account which I have just done! :) Thanks for the good advice Lloyds I will heartily recommend to my friends and professional colleagues to exercise their right not to spend money with you in the future. Not quite sure what I did to offend you so much!

Very pleased with the whole experience. Easier than any-other bank to register - my account was open without much trouble with a really nice adviser. Never had any issue with them-easy to use and navigate around, will most certainly use again.
Friendly staff, issues resolved in minutes, great service and definitely a recommendable place for banking.

I urgently needed to remortgage, I had an interest only loan, but had to use my investment plan, which was there to settle the capital, to pay for urgent structural repairs to the house. In addition the mounting building costs hammered my credit cards. The Lloyds advisor was great, we went through everything, put an affordable package together and got my finances back on an even keel, so much so that I have even been able to retire 6 years early!

In conjunction with my mortgage review I obtained a new home and contents policy with Lloyds about 2 years ago and make an annual saving of around £900 per year, as I was previously locked into very high rates with my previous provider. I'm sticking with Lloyds for now, but my next review is imminent, so may look around to see other offers, but at the same time I'm confident from my experiences so far with Lloyds, that they will be in the market to negotiate.

A catalogue of ridiculous mistakes since joining them two months ago, each mistake unable to be fixed properly without numerous complaints raised on my side. Call handlers don't possess the basic skills to perform their job properly and this resulted in my card being cancelled and me being unable to gain access to my money. Compensated each time but this is purely to close down the fault and prevent you speaking to the Ombudsman, mistakes keep occurring which is unacceptable and the simplest of tasks seem beyond staffs capability. 1. No overdraft added to account upon opening one despite one being arranged and authorized at time of application. No card sent on time and several never even turned up. Cards came with incorrect names and title. Card cancelled in error by call handler. Card sent with no pin. Card re sent with no contactless facility. All basic stuff yet they fail every time, don't bank with this bunch of cowboys!

I signed up for this credit card as I needed the flexibility of having one, having not had one before. The Avios points appealed massively to me as I love to travel and by simply transferring my normal spend to the credit card, I have received enough points to pay for flights to Berlin for a Christmas trip. Signing up was simple and flexibility to increase or decrease the credit limit whenever I like is hugely beneficial.
