Would not recommend Lloyds, their processes are very old fashioned and difficult. Proved incredibly difficult to open a joint club Lloyds account and we wanted to try and meet the switching offer deadline but had to wait for an activation code in the post. We spoke to Lloyds on the phone and they could offer no alternatives and there was no way we could speed up the process, they suggested going into a branch but they had no appointments available in the next 3 weeks. They should give warning that in becoming a new Lloyds customer you need to wait at least a week for a code to be sent in the post and it’s stupid that you can’t set up a joint account together on the phone Read more Read less

Wanting to transfer a large amount of funds to a payee, I ended up in the ludicrous situation of having to visit a branch to... Wanting to transfer a large amount of funds to a payee, I ended up in the ludicrous situation of having to visit a branch to execute this. The lengthy phone call (some 80 minutes) to establish that it’s no longer possible to do this by phoning a special number, let alone on-line, makes a mockery of the endless cajoling this bank employs to persuade its customers that it’s “much quicker on-line”. But two years previously just a phone call was possible but Lloyds have removed this facility. Read more Read less

    Would recommend Lloyds bank

    First of all i would like to ask if anyone ever wins the prize as i have filled out a few of these and never... First of all i would like to ask if anyone ever wins the prize as i have filled out a few of these and never got a response of who has won? I would give LLoyds top marks as they were very kind to me and sensitive in helping me with my situation, which helped me tremendously to get out of the mess i was in.
