While Nationwide's Fairer Share bonuses are appreciated, their interest rates on currents accounts are comparatively and sometimes extremely poor, and their customer service is woeful.

    Nationwide trustworthy, but...

    Nationwide is competent and trustworthy, but your money can working harder for you with other providers. I do appreciate how they give back to their loyal customers with unexpected bonuses.
